Mum's Funeral 8th March 2004

My Mother Dora Radcliffe died in Arrowe Park Hospital on 27th February after collapsing the previous Saturday.

The funeral was at Landican crematorium and we, the three boys, Christopher Paul and John, together with Keith Butcher crafted what we considered would be an appropriate funeral.

We had a reception afterwards at Thornton Hall Hotel afterwards and were very pleased that so many friends were able to come.

Paul had set up a projector with slides showing Mum and the family over the last 50 years which certainly stimulated discussion.

I will update these pages with some of them later.

We took some family photographs aferwards in the grounds. As you will see we let off a bit of stream.

I also took some picures of the house.    Mum had lived there since 1940.
